Just made an order from Dardas. I thought they gave an LEO discount but must have mixed this up with another site. Who do you go with for high quality cast bullets? I would like it if they gave an LEO discount like free shipping or something like that. I also order in bulk and a 10-12k order is not too hard to put together. Thanks.

    Really?

I may be willing to cancel my order. They are showing a 6-8 week wait. Pair that with the laugh I got when I asked about the LEO discount....

    Where's the info?

They were offering a THR forum discount, maybe someone has the discount code as I forgot it.

Also discounts on over 12,000 bullets.

Absolutely great people to deal with! Also a high quality product!

Cant say enough about the good people at Missouri Bullet, and yes, they give a discount for military and LEO.

Don't take this the wrong way, why does a LEO get a discount ? I really am curious, I can certainly understand a volume discount but a LEO is really just a workin man like everybody else and it's a hobby for him to. Some LEOs get paid pretty well, how about a cranky old guy discount.

Like blarby, I cast my own. Not difficult, and aside from saving you boat loads of money, it is a lot of fun. I particularly enjoy creating hollowpoints that most of the online commercial casters don't offer.

Planning on starting to cast soon, but until then I use S&S casting. They're locally available and perform well.

Tire stores and sometimes the scrap yard. :)
Before I started casting, I bought from Missouri Bullets and was never one time disappointed. Top notch outfit, top notch product.

I'll second Z-Cast Bulletz. They have the best online prices I've found so far, their shipping was quick last fall and the 200gr. bullets shoot fine in my 1911.

Man those look awesome! I have a hard enough time getting to my reloading room to keep my pistol and long range rifle fed, especially since our baby boy arrived in December. Unfortunately, casting is just not an option at this point.

It is definitely time consuming. No doubt about it.
Casting, loading and shooting are really my only hobbies now though. I haven't played golf in a long time. I can't justify spending $50 on greens fees. I'm always like, "Crap, I could have bought 2 pounds of powder, or a bucket of wheel weights with that." :)
