Who makes the best....

ambi safety for the 1911, or is there no real differance between Kings, Swanson, Ed Browns, or C&S, also does anyone make one that is put together like the ambi saftey on my Browning Hi-Power (it uses a roll pin to join the parts)
I just bought a kimber SS Target model, and being left handed, I NEED a ambi safety.

Since you have a Kimber, I would suggest Wilson parts

my favorite is the one that ed brown produces.

the "elbow" fits the joint of my thumb perfectly and the cant away from the slide keeps me from "riding the slide".

Their all slightly different.......in paddle length, width, position forward of x-pin, etc. Also some slope down out to their sides.
In general the Brown is my favorite one reason being there is a lot of material to shape exactly the way you desire.
