I recently bought a Simply Rugged Cuda holster for my 1911 type auto in part because it shields the part of the gun from the trigger guard back from touching my bare skin. It is an OK holster but I think I would like one better made.

Does anyone know who makes top of the line OWB holsters with such a shield like the Cuda? I saw a holster by Mitch Rosen but it does not appear to have such a shield and I am afraid my gun would rub against my bare skin and be uncomfortable.

BTY, I also ordered one of their belts and I don't like it at all. It is almost as flimsy as a belt I bought from Walmart.

Cant say enough good things about High Noon Holsters. I have bought two reasonably priced holsters from them and have not been dissapointed. Customer service is excellent too. Excellent quality from a complany that gets it when it comes to guns.... If what I have is the moderately priced holsters, I cant imagine what the nice ones are like...

why not just tuck your shirt between the gun and your skin? I carried OWB using a yaqui slide in my carbine class, and I just pulled my shirt down between the grip and my side. it kept it out of the way and also kept away any rubbing that might have occurred.

Lobo holsters come with an optional body shield

Email me your snail mail address and I will send you my tuckable holster for the M1911. This holster can also be used as an ordinary (untuckable) IWB by attacking the belt loops directly to the holster with the upper set of Chicago screws.
