I just joined after I learned of HR1022. I'm ashamed to say I hadn't joined earlier. Who else here is a member?

Argh matey. The great pirate Economist is indeed a supporter of the NRA. I even hear that after they've gotten HR1022 killed, they'll help me find me buried treasure. :neener:

Patron member since Dec 06. Life Member Colorado State Shooting Association. GOA, too.

If you own a gun, you should be a member. Imagine an association of 100 million people. There would be no such thing as an anti-gun politician...at least not one that would admit to it.

I am a member but I am getting tired of some of the things the NRA is doing/not doing.
I am thinking of joining Gun Owners of America, their past performance has shown no back up or compromise in furthering our fight for our rights.

Annual member since 2006, planning to renew in perpetuity. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with an inbox full of NRA spam. :)
