Why are there 9mm adapters, but few .357 adapters?

Sorry, I have to make another thread on shotgun adapters, but this one eats at me. The few US based shotgun adapter manufacturers all make a .38 Special and a 9mm adapter, but only Chiappa makes a .357 adapter for their X-Caliber M6 Scout clone.

I was discussing this with a youtuber a week or two ago and his belief is that .357 is "too much for shotguns" but that makes no sense to me because Shortlane and MCA Sports all advertise that 9mm +P ammo is fine for their adapters, yet last I checked 124gr 9mm +P is HIGHER PRESSURE than 125gr .357 Magnum. So, what gives? If the pressure and recoil are the same, there's no reason .357 adapters can't be used in shotguns, right?

Okay, clearly IDK who all the manufacturers are. That makes a total of 4.

I suspect 357 mag adapters are not as common because the ammo is expensive. And people who are interested in shooting 357 out of a rifle can buy a lever action rifle.
