Why isn’t the 222 Rem dead?

I wanted to build a rifle that would put all its shots in the same hole at 100 yds.

The groups are 5 shots.

I’m not convinced a 223 could group consistently in the 1’s

The homemade rifle that shot the target in my previous post is a Savage target action, Shilen barrel, Stockade Guns stock.
