Is Wideners reliable & reputable as an on-line source? Their prices are significantly cheaper than some other places. I'm sure some of that will be made up in shipping, but if they aren't reliable I don't want/need my money tied up in product I'm not receiving. Saving money on stuff I'm not receiving doesn't make me happy

I tried searching the forum about this, but had more hits than time.

Thanks in advance,
Quoheleth

In my experience, Wideners is absolutely reliable and trustworthy. Whatever I have ordered from them over the years I have received, and received quickly.

My only disappointment with them (and it isn't their fault) is that they are out of stock on almost all of their Israeli ammo and reloading components. I called about this months ago, and was told that they simply aren't getting restocked. I suppose that Israel is building up ammo stocks for an expected war this summer.

Other than that, they are a top notch company - order from them with no worries. No, I don't work for them or know anyone who does :D

Yep, ordered from them many, many times. Always prompt delivery and nice stuff. In fact, they just sent me another 85lbs of 7.62x54R last Friday. You won't go wrong ordering from them!

just ordered 3 times from them in the last two weeks

OOPS! those orders were with Graf & Sons--it's been more like ten years or so since I ordered from Widener's.

However, I know of no information about them conflicting with the other comments here.

I'm another satisfied customer. I've ordered from them numerous times.

I had bought from them fifteen years ago during my first go-round with reloading. They're still the same company, alright--totally reliable
.

Same experience here.

Wideners is a good company to deal with. When buying surplus ammo with them they always give a good description of the quality of ammo you are getting. Stand up folks. :)

Im a new customer. I use Midway quite a bit but Wideners has great prices and will ship small quantities without an additional charge

I have never ordered online from them, but I live nearby and often visit their walk-in counter. In my experience, they're good honest folks.

I made my first order from them this afternoon, and all because of this thread !

Got some ammo for my newest milsurp, and cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else.

Thanks!

Thanks for the positives on Wideners. Was worried that less expensive = lesser quality service.

Also saw that they have great price on Blazer ammo right now. .357 mag, for example, <$10/box of 50. Can't beat that with a stick around here.

Again, thanks!

Good company, good people. They spent 3wks trying to run down my new address after I placed an order after I'd moved and UPS couldn't find me. Still got my order and no additional shipping !!!!!

I've dealt with them for over 20yrs.

Their surplus WC-860 is superlative in Weatherby and Remington Ultra Mags.... Accurate and fast, and absolutely CHEAP !!!!!!!
