That's what I do too! After you shoot em, throw BP on them and burn em. Just say you were trying to stop the bleeding. :evil:
 
I shot a skunk with my 357 while sitting inside the cab of a truck and a possum in a barn both times my ears rang for a day and a 1/2. They are sharp and loud. Wear ear protection.

And when your ears ring like that, you have suffered hearing damage.
 
Last time I took my Ruger Redhawk in 357 out to the range all I got was "What the hell are you shooting?" This is the 7.5" model and the muzzle blast is absolutely the worst in a pistol/revolver I've ever fired and on top of the the groud around me feels like a small arthquake when it goes off. The only thing worse I've come across is a S&W model 53 in 22 Remington Jet that an older gent had at the range one day.
