I'm looking at the CZ's and with the newer introduction of the P-01 and P-06 I'm concerned if the 75 Compacts will soon see end of life.

I'd prefer the safety mechanism of the Compacts over the decocker of the P's but I don't want to get an item that will be discontinued anytime soon.

I don't see it happening. The compacts give the option for a standard safety and don't have the light rail (mostly). The P- series is just them expanding options to include decockers and alloy frames.

Even if the person I asked was in the loop and knew, I doubt they would admit something like that to me.

If the sales numbers are still good for the Compacts, then I doubt it would be discontinued.

So I wonder from those that maybe CZ dealers whether or not demand is still high for the compacts or whether people are choosing the newer P's instead.

My concerns maybe mostly moot anyways. I'm mostly interested in it via a future spare parts perspective. If both the compacts and the P's use mostly the same key interchangeable parts, then I don't need to worry too much.

That question has already surfaced.

CZ has NO plans for discontinuing the hot selling P-01/P-06
or even the PCR.

They might limit production on some guns (like they did with the
85 Combat) but the Compacts are here to stay for a while.
