Will the bayonet for an M1 Garand also fit an M1A...

    I believe the model for the M14/M1A is the M6 bayonet. The Garand uses the M5.

    You can also get the older WW2 bayonets for the Garand, of which there were several types...16" and 10" blades.

    The M5 bayonet was made after 1953. Mine's the earlier 1943-45 M1 bayonet.
