Who can recommend a good peep sight for my little ruger 10/22? Which williams should I look at? Does someone make a basic post type front sight in the proper height to complement a peep rear?

Thanks,

I've got the Williams peep site set. This is basically a taller front site and the rear sight packaged together. I didn't realize this when I ordered it, but the front blade is REALLY TALL. It's so tall, that I worry it will get bent and/or broken very easilly. You can buy a riser block and a shorter front site if you choose. I really like the fire sites that they sell these days. The whole setup is available at the link below:

I just picked up one at the show for $13. Making adjustments are not as convenient as dial up ones, but there's really nothing out there for 10/22. This is the best one I tried so far. I really like it!

I have the Zepher Eagle (yes Zepher, not zephyr) peep sight, which has a hooded black front post, very sharp. The rear aperture is plastic with adjustment screws and an aluminum base. The plastic leaves something to be desired, but it has been working fine for me.

I wish someone would make a set of M1 Carbine-type sights for the 10/22. Unfortunately I doubt enough owners would want to buy them.
