i bought this md 12(made in 1955) at public auction with a factory cyl choke and 26" barrel and i am going to try it at skeet and sporting clays with 1-1/8 #8 shot. it is in very good condition, the original owners son said his dad used it for ringneck and grouse, but as they dwinded he tried it on rabbits and did not like the choke and it sat in the gun cabinet most of the last 30yds. eastbank.

should be good for any close range shooting inside 30 yards. skeet is shot at 20-22 yds, sporting clays much longer. it can be threaded for choke tubes check out shotgun world forum.info on mike arlen gunsmith.

For skeet, it would be fine, but as mentioned, sporting clay shots can range from in your face to waaaaay out there.

Mike Orlen is a mod on the gunsmith section. It is best to call him over email. Otherwise, Briley can do the job, and IIRC so can George Trulock
