Win,. mod 97 ejection issue...

Hey all , I picked up a wichester mod 97 pump and it doesn't seem to want to eject empty shells. It will eject a fully loaded shell, but not a fired shell. It keeps it up top and doesn't fall down into receiver. Ser # puts mfg date at 1907. Cannot find on gun if 2 3/4 , so maybe thats my issue.? These are handloads that I use for cowboy shooting and also in my wifes replica with no issue. 80 grains 2-F goex under 1 1/8oz #8. Any help will be appreciated, Thanks, Bob

check the left side hull extractor they break easily and will cause your problem.
