Winchester 07 recoil buffer

Evening gents,have a winny 07 in 351w im putting together.replaced all the springs and cleaned up the internals somewhat.need 1 more item to make it shootable,recoil buffer.Numrich is sold out,ebay and gunbroker were a no go.Has anyone here made one themselves or substituted with something else?that seems to be my only option.

This may be your lucky day. I have one put up, but I'm probably going to need the help of one of our boy's to get to it. I know where it is, but I can't dig it out by myself. If I forget remind me. I will look this week to see where it is and if I can get it out myself.

Did you get my message about a week ago. I was talking to my buddy who works for a gunsmith and he sugguested going to Jack First and he had a lot of stuff for the .351 and others, but sadly no buffers. I will get around to it and if you are interested I will message you.

I finally figured it out and am waiting on his response.

49 willys was on this forum today and signed off at 1536 with no response to this post or my private conversation with him. I will give him a few more days and after that the buffer goes back in my .351 box.

The buffer is going back in the .351 box as 49 willys has been on THR twice since these messages were posted. If I don't put it back it's liable to be lost as no one else knows what it is.
