If you're looking at Winchester powders 748 is what you want for .223 (or there are several other good choices Varget, Benchmark, BL-C(2), 4198, 3031, 4895, H335...)

WW-760 is too slow for the .223 with either bullet.

According to the Winchester Reloading Guide, 760 is a duplicate for the .30-06 Springfield factory load ballistics (using Winchester components) and is recommended for ,22-250, ,300 Win Mag as well as .300 WSM.
