winchester 94 differences between '67 and a '71?

Hello.
Looking at buying a winchester model 94, choice between two rifles a 1967 and a 1971. Both rifles are near perfect easy 98%, both are 30-30, and both are in the $350-$375 range.
Question is there any difference between the two being they are both post 64. The 67 has darker stock than the 71, I wonder if it is walnut vs birch? Other than the wood any mechanical or quality differences between the two? Is the price range OK being both guns are near perfect?

I've owned a couple of post '64 Mod 94's. The difference between them was that of two different specimens from the same production line on different days, or between two adjacent serial numbers....

In retrospect, both were decent guns and were decently accurate but both had been "abused" before I aquired them at minimal cost.

I personally prefer the Marlins, but also still have a Winny M94 "Legacy" in .45lc. I have a Weaver reciever sight on it and enjoy "playing cowboy-assault rifle" with it's 11-shot magazine... almost as many rounds as the "wholly weird" (HollyWood) make-believe guns.

Get the one that "looks" the best to you.... otherwise, they're two peas in a pod. I have a preference for the up-grade XTR's of the late 70's and '80's....Hooded front sight, brighter blue, fancier wood and checkering.... Beautiful and functional rifles.

I'm sure that the new ones from Miroku are fabulous.... If I ever find an '05 or so vintage .25-35wcf, it'll follow me home.....
Those prices are about average and reasonable. Try to get them down to $325 or so out-the-door and you'll enjoy the rifles.....
