    Hi all,
...sent to SA in Dec. 1940. In Jan. 1941 problems with WRA clips begain. SA found the problem in WRA clips dimensions. What were the dimensions on the WRA clips that cause WRA clips not to work correctly.
    Have fun guys
    Thanks again

The notch where the clip retainer held it in the rifle was stamped too small.

    Hi all,
It seems that the problem with the clips was that SA sent Win the wrong drawing number sheets. WRA cut their clips to .627 plus .006. The change SA made was to .640 plus .010. Of the 50,000 clips WRA had made using the wrong data were cut over with no charge. I know it was a really hard one, but I thought of interest.
    Thanks again
    Clancy
