I for one can't open your file. There were some reproductions made during the early to mid 90's, if unfired new in box I would guess around $1000-$1100. The gold inlay and such is a bonus, but it will only matter to a collector, not a shooter.

Is it a new Winchester production or an older model 12 that was restored and engraved? DO you know what year it was produced? I was trying to look it up, but I need to know more.

The guns made in Japan (like yours) are not as valuable as the originals, but they are very well made firearms. That also include an interrupter so you cannot slam fire it. Look on Guns International and gunbroker for an idea on value. I can't help as I am not into Model 12s.

I normally trust sold guns on Gunbroker as the ultimate price guide, but something like this is uncommon so hard to find that way. With that in mind Gundigest's online guide says for this specific gun (Model 12 "Limited Edition" introduced in 1993 in the Grade IV with gold highlights) would be $1400 for a "new in box" gun.

Realistically IMHO all price guides tend to err a little high on excellent/NIB guns (and rather low on the other end of the scale), so for me I'd put it more like $1000-1200.

It's a shame for the quality, but about a grand to 1200. There is little collector interest in the Miroku built Model 12's, tho they are excellent guns.
