I found one in .308 going for 450 plus 4 extra magazines and a mounted toss away scope. I cant find out if its a pre-64 until i check it out in person, but this seems like a pretty good deal. Any thoughts? Should i just grab it, or is that the going price. I know a few years ago the pre-64's were going to alot more...

Unless it is beater, and if it is pre-64, it is a steal. No pre-64s around here for less than 600, including mine :)

Even post-64, if in good shape, a good deal.

Good deal...Make sure it's not 'shaken' apart.

The magazines are worth $50 each, the scope might be good on a .22.
