Anyone have any thoughs on this powder? LGS has a few pounds and I'm about out of IMR4350. Needing to load up some more 140's for my 264win mag.

    780 Supreme gunpowder

It is a slow burner. Slower than H4831 and 4350. I use in in my 270Winchester under a 130gr. bullet. My loading manual lists the top load at 59gr., H4831 at 55 gr. listed velocity for 780 at 2927fps. @60,900PSI It is a ball powder and measures very nicely. I rarely have to trickle the load. It is disigned for magnum loads. I use magnum primers in my .270. I assume you do also. I assume no responsibility for the data given. You are advised to reduce the loads I gave by 10% and work up your load using appropriate caution. It is my favorite powder for the .270W. BTW. Winchester Supreme 780 = 780 Supreme. I got the words mixed up.
