Winchester vs Tikka - Need Advise

I have been on the hunt for my first Magnum. I have looked at several and come to two guns.

1st Tikka Whitetail Hunter 338 Win mag

2nd Winchester Model 70 300 Win mag

Is there any great advantage one over the other...caliber or make and model etc. NOTE: I do own a few 30-06 rifles!

Use; Deer, Boar & Elk

I have both, and I like the tikka more. beter in everyway IMO

There is a big difference between different Winchesters. Need more info about when it was made, PF vs CRF, type of stock , price, etc?

I like Tikka's a lot, but they are a very light rifle and I think one in 338 could be a bit much. Also for the game listed it is more gun than I think you need.

When selecting a new rifle, i handled and cycled every action i could in all the gun stores I visited. I finally chose a Savage but the TIKKA probably had the smoothest action.

There are lots of Model 70 variants. The answer could depend upon which one.
