This happened less than 3 blocks from where i work.If it were to have happened 2 hours earlier there would have been alot more bystanders accidentally shot.Very heavy populated area around noon.Very happy it wasn't worse than it was.

I have to agree based on my limited exposure anyway. Now I know there are excellent shooting LEOs out there, but from what I've seem at the ranges I visit they average 6 to 8 inch groups at 7 yards. But hey, that's why we carry ourselves - I feel better knowing that I provide my family's protection.

I am no expert, and have out shot many a LEO on the local IDPA course.

Where I lived growing there was a small slauhter house across the street.

Every couple years a steer would get out and there would be a half dozen 'black/white car cowboys' show up. Once they decided to shoot the critter. I believe it had 14 bullets in it. I dont recall exactly how it died. Perhaps from massive bleeding. The butchers laughed when they finally got it back and tried to salvage any of it.
