wolf .223 75 grain hp as defensive ammo?

I was wondering how this ammo would perform if used out of an m4 type carbine at typical defensive ranges.

It should be fine. There are better choices, but it should work, Privi 75 gr is pretty good, and, IIRC, they are the same company. So, probably the same bullets.

The Wolf Gold line 75 gr HP is made by PRVI, regular steel cased Wolf black box 75 gr is not.

i would think that it would do just fine, it is a rifle round and that right there outs it heads and shoulders over what most people use as hd.

is the ammo reliable? shootable, and accurate enough for your needs? i all those things are good then i would say go for it.

Black-box wolf 75gr .223 has a "bimetal" jacket that will not break up the way OTM bullets do. SGN had a write-up on them and even thew Wolf rep said it was not defensive ammo.
