While I was at my local reloading supply center today I noticed that they had a large supply of Wolf brand shells, 2 3/4 or 3 dram 1 1/8oz 8 or 9 shot for $39/case. I picked up a case, an 8lb jug of Clays, 75lbs of shot and staggered off to the car.
The shells look normal, they are brass based with a blue paper hull and a 6 fold crimp. The base is stamped "www.worldshot.com". Although they say 2 3/4 dram equiv. the salesperson said the recoil is closer to 3 dram shell and the 3 dram shell would "put a hurtin' on you unless you use an auto."
Anyone have any experience with these shells?
