Both of these are moving stories, anyone got a story of women that are younger or older?



12-year old Bryan County girl, when an intruder broke into her home ....the man went around to the back of the house and kicked a door open. That's when authorities say, the girl grabbed a gun and hid in a bathroom closet. After the man was shot, The 12- year old ran out of the closet and called for help. Authorities say she kept her cool despite the potential danger. "She was very brave, she stayed on the phone with the dispatcher the whole time - talked all the way through it and was still on the phone with dispatch when we got into the house." Says Golden.

Miss America 1944 has a talent that likely has never appeared on a beauty pageant stage: She fired a handgun to shoot out a vehicle's tires and stop an intruder. Venus Ramey, 82, confronted a man on her farm in south-central Kentucky last week after she saw her dog run into a storage building where thieves had previously made off with old farm equipment.
