My wife actually likes this revolver so much that she thinks we should make an exception and get it earlier.

11th anniversary is steel?? Oh boy! 3 more years, I'll inform the warden , I think I'll pick.... Another freedom arms revolver but I may change my mind before then.

It has more to do with the release of funds than a significant other going, picking out, bringing home and gift wrapping. What's yours is theirs.

I always ask for .22 ammo- usually easy to find, inexpensive, and relatively idiot-proof. Even if they end up getting me shorts or shotshells, I can find a gun to shoot it.

First anniversary, S&W 30-1 3” it’s one of my favorite guns, and would be whether it was an anniversary gift or not.
My birthday is right before Christmas so I usually just combine them into a birthmas gift and get a gun. This year it’s a Chipmunk 22 pistol. (And an Anderson lower that the wife forgot about). I have also gotten a few others for birthmas. My single six was half my cash saved up and half birthmas the year I got it. I have gotten a bunch of AR parts to build a few guns. Parts to rebuild some other guns I was working on.

I got this Colt SAA .45 from my Wife for a Christmas present when we absolutely could not afford it. She had it put on lay a way for months. I had looked at it at a Gun Show and had returned twice more to the table lusting after it.
