Went out to the club to practice a little skeet before league starts next week and was checking out the for sale items on the bulletin board. Guy had a MEC 650 advertised. When I got there to pick it up it turned out to be:

650 press with auto primer
a MEC super sizer
three shot bars
7 bushings
bench
3 bags of wads
A reload manual (1984 though gonna go pick up the current Lyman)
The Gun Digest book of trap and skeet shooting - GF has already claimed that.

Old boy helped me load it in my pickup too.

Grand total = $75 :D :D

How'd I do? LOL!

Got a similar story. Went hunting this weekend and a buddy says he has lots of stuff taking up space. Wants me to take a look-see if I could use anything. Man- what a cache- he has like 7-8 presses, wads, powder, primer, shot all stuffed in this little room off a garage in his rental house. I walked out with a MEC 650, a MEC Supersizer, a bag of wads, a case of primers, a bag of shot and a pound of powder. He used to shoot skeet competitively and had reloaders for all gauges. Now they just gather dust- but I will keep one dust free. I just have to clean it up. It is missing a primer tray and the primer seating assembly. Anybody have a spare? I think I'll keep this friend- even though he thinks I have his Winchester 92. That's the 2nd gun he has lost in the last year:(

Got my MEC for $40 at a yard sale, no extra's but still a darn good deal.
