HELLO THR,
I have received a new friend in the name of M57 the new Tokarev import and it's extractor pin is a bear. Anyone used a wood iron to isolate a pin with heat and let the kroil work? By the way these are treasures I've waited along time for them to do the tastefully.
Thanks in advance,
James

If you have an old soldering iron with a pin point, those work decently to heat up a very small area. The Kroil should be applied afterwards though. Try the Kroil alone first before heat.

Tried without heat and sonic cleaned it 3 times and flushed there well with brake cleaner, I don't have but a big ol'e soldering iron, very oddly large from the 40's haha.

Brake cleaner removes all traces of oil. Probably locked it up tight.
Soak it in kroil for 24-48 hours and then try it. I bet you’ll have success.

kroil first.

If all comes to worse, I use a propane torch and then the force (bigger hammer).

Soaking her down, Yea it extracts fine but knowing I haven't gotten in there bugs me. Thanks for the replies.
