My new Dillon D-Terminator showed up courtesy of Fed Ex this morning, no more guessing at the balance scale for me!

I thought the "draft shield" Dillon sent with it was kinda hokey, until I got it up and running and saw how sensitive it really is. Blowing at it from a yard away can affect the measurement. Hopefully this makes keeping accurate load notes easier, if nothing else it adds to the "nifty" factor on my bench.

Theoretically, you would double the size for 100 meters, but the real world can be very different.

Now you can guess if you are holding your mouth right and the moon is in alignment with mars.

Enjoy your scale. I found the electronic scale more aggrevating than a balance scale myself, so I switched back. Mine (not a Dillon) was way to sensitive.
