I thought some of you who own, or are interested in owning, one of Robert Mika's pocket holsters would be interested in this recent email exchange I had with him. I am posting it with his permission.

Lines up with my experience with Mr. Mika. One he shipped did not get here as promised...dropped him an email he responded the next day , put me on top of the list and shipped. No questions or gripes simply asked me let him know if and when the holster showed up. BTW the holster was for a M-60 no dash and gets used near bouts every day.

Quality product -- Quality service -- UNbeatable price -- from a Quality guy.

My round-cut is perfect for my 642.

I've been hip to his economical and well made holsters for years. Mika rocks!

This Sunday will complete week 6 for me, and so far, no holster. I haven't wanted to bother him, as it appears he is very busy. I've received two holsters from him previously, one that I ordered, and a second that he sent me for free, when I mentioned to him in an email a preference I have in pocket holsters. Both his holsters and customer service are top notch. Couldn't be more satisfied with the product, or the service. The "Mika" pocket holster works better than any other pocket holster I've tried, and they are worth the wait. I can't hardly wait to try the new SP101 holster.

As a side note, I prefer to carry my 642 in the square cut (pictured above). It stays positioned perfectly in my pockets.

My Mika pocket holster is far better than any of the four others I own. His quality and service had already impressed me. Now I read this. A quality product, a quality man.

Mr. Mika is a good man.

I ordered a holster a few months ago and when the six weeks or so rolled around I e-mailed him to check up on it. He told me it was shipping in a couple days, but then about 10 days later, still no holster.

I contacted him again and it turns out he had accidentally dropped it out of the bag of holsters to be shipped and it was separated from the other holsters in the trunk of his squad car.

Long story short, he felt terrible about the delay and gave me the holster free.

He makes great holsters too :)

I have an IWB holster from him for my Kahr CW9. I don't generally care for IWB holsters because I find them to be uncomfortable. Mika's holster "disappears" the gun and is comfortable all day long. Great price as well.

P.S. That's an impressively damaged squad car. I wouldn't mind hearing the story about that.

Great holsters. One of those things you never knew you needed, but now I can't imagine toting my Taurus snubby without the Mika.

The last time I ordered a Mika holster was over a year ago. I must have at least 6 or 7. Whenever I got a new CC gun for pocket carry I'd order one up from Mr. Mika. Inexpensive, tough and they work. I guess word has gotten out and he is indeed overrun with orders. I used to get my new holsters from him in about a week or so. Great product. God bless him.
