Wore out Glock or H&K?

Has any one here "wore out" a Glock or H&K to the point it was no longer serviceable?
I have seen many 1911 worn to the point it was just cheaper to buy a another one then to invest in repair and replacement of parts.
Any thing like that on a H&K or Glock?

No, but I've never seen a 1911 that was toast either, not even after 2 barrels and 150K+ rounds was the 1911 ready for the scrap pile....
