Ok, so I see lots and lots of shiny gun porn threads with nice, neat looking firearms. I thought I'd post a few of working guns, dirty and shot until you're broke and out of ammo just as they should be :D

The only clean shot should be the trigger...I'm sorry it isn't very dirty, it's really hot out and I think my sweat pouring over it kept it somewhat clean. :neener:

More importantly...happy Memorial Day and thank you to those who have served!

I like the idea of this thread...Careful shooting it with the TLR 1 on. I broke two from shooting while they were attached. Now all my practice is done without my weapon mounted light.

I've had the tlr-1s for over a year and i've mostly used it as a handy light...figured I'd get some use out of it. :) It still worked after 500 rounds, well after wiping the lense anyway.

My "go anywhere" gun. I like to tell people that I can lay it on a rock and not worry about scratches. I have a lot of other guns that I'd worry about that way, but not this one. Any new scratches would probably go unnoticed. :)

Let's see a 5 or 4 Screw S&W with Diamond grips [grips alone are worth $100-$200]....I'd put it on rocks... no way...

I've got cz fever after test driving one...that's just torture armoredman :neener:

The guy at the gunstore was all corny about it and trying really hard to make a sale.

"CZ, huh? Well, we only have 2. I'm surprised you asked about them, not many people do. <pauses and cuts eyes to both sides as he leans over the counter> The thing with CZ's is that they only appeal to real shooters...people who know more about guns than average gun owners, people who run their guns, people who shoot often...real shooters, not gun owners."

I had to try not to laugh. Normally I can't stand an over eager salesman, but he got an A+ for combing hype, brown nosing and enthusiasm all at once.

I figure this might partially get turned into a black pistol thread even if they dont have a mark on them buuuuuut.....here is mine.

IMHO, there is no better "working" pistol made.

Glock for the WIN!!

I like this thread. I find that guns with worn bluing from being shot and being carried are much more visually appealing than shiny new looking guns.

Here are my most used guns.

First the Winchester 1400 for dove and skeet league
MyGuns019.jpg

Second the Winchester SX2 the waterfowler
MyGuns027.jpg

Lastly the Crosman Titan NP the backyard shooter and critter control. Cause its more fun than a garden fence!!!
