I like the patina! Very good looking gun, Just $1450 —- OUCH!I believe RR produced more wartime 1911A1s than any other manufacturer. Not rare, exactly- just seldom seen these days outside of high-end collections and auctions.
Last time I saw one in the wild, that was about on par with what they were asking.
Jezz! very depressing FYiAs a kinda macabre sidenote, the FJA stands for Frank J Atwood, who's office was responsible for inspecting many wartime ordnance products made on the East coast. He died in 1979.
His son, FJA Jr, was convicted of kidnapping and murdering an 8-year old girl in 1984. He was finally executed in 2021.
you know that from the shadow outline!I'd be all over that Bernadelli M69 in the case underneath the 1911. What were they asking for that?
They have a rather distinctive silhouette. Never owned one, but somehow wound up with a magazine for one.you know that from the shadow outline!
$600 I think, mabey $450. Been there for a long time
I think there is a market for well aged Service guns. I really like the old look.My initial feeling is that the Remington Rand is overpriced, for that condition. But the market has been escalating rapidly these last few years.
I wouldn't buy it, simply because I already have one in exc ++ condition.
dude.... I'm not falling for your trolling this time. LOLwhat you guys think about turning that Remington Ran into a project gun like this???

that would be cool to pick them up for $700!They are only going to go up in value unless another million end up being surplused
you don’t like that blueing?Needs powdercoating.
Nobody thinks it’s cool except me and Jaroddude.... I'm not falling for your trolling this time. LOL
I remember Gas being $.65 at Dodgers Gas & Chicken at North Myrtle Beach 1996I remember them being around $500 in the 90s. Gas was $1.20 then, and is almost 3x that today.
I'd offer $1350.
1050 to 1150 - then $1450 is not so bad. Someone gotta make a buck. I never seen one in the wild. It does come with all the CMP paper work. I like itIf it's a CMP 1911 looks like a field grade. 1050 or 1150 Depending on which round it was purchased. Now parts play into values as well. After war Replacement barrel and all that factors in. Depends on how bad you want it. Some don't care they just want WW been there done that 1911...
