    ...Smith and Wesson guy?!?!? I never would have thought...

    I buy and sell guns way too often it seems. I buy one, try it for a while, then sell it. It seems that guns don't last in my hands for too long before they get sold. I have owned Springfield, Walther, Colt, Para, Ruger, Taurus, and just about every other major brand.

    Today I took stock of my handguns and low and behold:

    Smith 642 (no-lock)
    Smith 686 (no-lock)
    Smith M&P Compact (no-lock)

    Dang, how did I get stuck in a Smith and Wesson rut? One thing is for sure, these are some of the best that I've owned (although aside from the PPS I've never really had a dud).

    I guess I'm officially a Smith fan now?

    Yeah, I figured out last year that I'm a Ruger fanboy in much the same way.

    I wouldn't worry yet, I'm several S&W's ahead of you and I'm not an addict. In fact, I think I have more in just k-frames...
