WTB. 4X handgun scope

Good luck. Magnified pistol scopes can be hard to find these days. The pistol world has been overran by red dots. Gunbroker generally has a few but they sell high and I don’t trust used glass that I can’t check over myself.

I'm not aware of any fixed 4x handgun scopes these days, other than the used market. What handgun are you planning on putting it on? Could you get by with a fixed 2x scope? I put a Burris 2x handgun scope on my Ruger Redhawk 44 Magnum last year and so far, it's holding up well. The Ruger previously had a 2x Leupold that got damaged beyond repair and sadly, the folks at Leupold don't seem interested in making handgun scopes anymore. 2x is quite adequate for handgun cartridges like the 44 Magnum.

I used to be an avid hand gunner for woodchucks using XP-100 and savage 510
Along with some fun Lone Eagle handguns. I have variable power scopes laying on the shelf, also just added one on a S&W 629 PC Hunter
Well, as luck would have it I ended up with a couple more of those performance center handguns

My favorite 4x handgun scopes have been older Burris 4x20. My favorite pistol scopes are the Thompson Center 3RP and 2x20 Leupold, but I don't like the 4x28 Leupold as much. The ones I've had had quite a bit of parallax error if you are going to shoot past 100. Optical side affect of the larger objective lens.
