WWII Katana

I looked over a buddy's katana. Its a WWII military piece. It needs some TLC, but he is a knifemaker and he'll do a good job of cleaning it.

Very cool. My Grandpa had a WW2 Shin Gunto, if that's the right spelling? Sheath and everything in good condition. When he was diagnosed with cancer he sold it, along with 20 or so firearms to help his wife. He had it listed at $1250 and got beat down to $500 by a cocky young lad . Too nice to say no. Rip.
