Looks like they forgot to renew their domain. I'd be very surprised if the company was gone, they must have made a ton of money over the last few months.

They had a note on their website yesterday that it was going down for maintenance. So it should be back up soon.

I also spoke to them yesterday, and everything was normal so they are definetly not going anywhere.

Looks like they forgot to renew their domain.
What give any indication of that? A WHOIS shows the domain as last being modified in August and being good until 2010. Besides, if the domain expires, most registrars usually just point the DNS requests to a "renew now" page.

The IP address resolves to the same address it has for at least 2 years.

I suspect gotime242 nailed it with the maintenance. It has all the symptoms of the actual server or some other in-between hardware being offline.

No need to panic. :)

I was looking at there web site an reading up on what is necessary to by from them.
Do they sell to the public or is it only to dealers.
I ask because they are only 1.5 hrs away from me an I am interested in getting a MOssin.
I am not new to guns but an new to buying them my self.
An did not really understand there site.

They sell ammo and parts to the public.

For firearms, you'd have to call and ask if they sell direct.

However their website states:
Sorry, the Walk-in pick-up counter is CLOSED until further notice.
Due to large back logs in shipping, and back orders, the front Walk-in pick-up counter has been closed. We encourage local customers to shop online, or Toll Free by telephone. You will note agreeable shipping rates due to your close proximity, especially compared to today's gas prices.

So it seems you're limited to Phone or 'Net purchase only at this time.

I ordered a case of 8mm Mauser from these guys, $200 delivered. Good stuff. It took them 2 weeks to get it out though because of the rush.
