Springfield Armory does not manufacture the XD/XDm series of pistols.
Springfield Armory is just the North American importer of the XD/XDm series of pistols.
Manufacturing concerns/requests should be direct to HS Produkt, the actual designers/manufacturers of the HS2000 (XD/XDm) series of pistols.

That being said I have heard of wishes and hopes and letters asking for 10mm guns from many companies over the years, including a XD in 10mm, but thus far no company has gone forward with a new (non-1911) 10 mm pistol. I guess they don't see enough profit margin in it.
Veltor says the new Bren Ten is coming but... they were suppose to be out by now. But at over a grand price tag it certainly is not in the same price point as EAA and Glock.

Usually major gun companies don't go out of their way to service the smallest segment of the market . .
If you want to know what Springfield will come out with next, think least common denomenator. Maybe a Twitter-enabled 9mm with 35 rd capacity and a 15lb trigger. The 15lb trigger will make it harder to shoot yourself whilst Twittering.

Considering Springfield dropped the XD in .45 GAP I would doubt they would bother with 10mm either.
Which is a shame because I would buy one so fast it wouldn't be funny.

Yeah good luck on that one. Wanting a 10mm is understandable. I just picked up a Glock 29SF a bit ago. Its a nice gun that lobs out a really big fast bullet. I shot a Doubletap 200 grain fmj clean through a pretty large fresh fallen tree trunk.
That is incorrect. HS-Arms is the European importer of the HS pistols and is based in Austria.
The original manufacturer is HS Produkt d.o.o. located in Croatia. The pistol was originally designed for the Croatian military during the Croatian War of Independence. If you want to request a 10mm version you can call the factory directly as I have included contact information below. It would help if you speak Croatian. Don't expect much, though... HS Produkt is a Croatian military defense company (an American equivalent would be General Dynamics Ordnance Division). Do you think calling General Dynamics Ordnance would get them to make you a special 5.56 NATO round? No. In the same way you'll likely get hung up on if you call HS Produkt and request a 10mm HS pistol.
HS Produkt only somewhat cares about the American market because we buy so many pistols...

At 2 NRA shows I have asked the SA reps for a 10mm version. They both told me they get several requests and forward them up the ladder when they get them. Back in May at the show the rep told me they probably would never make one, but also added the disclaimer of "never say never". I wish they would.

XDs in .45GAP are still in the line up, because HS Produkt still makes them.
Sellior & Bellot is now making .45GAP ammo due to sales of .45GAP pistols in the EU.
10x25mm is not big in the EU, so chances are HS Produkt will not be making a 10mm XD anytime soon.
