XD-M 9mm

So I had a few bucks and decided to go to the gun store. I figured I'd look around and see what they had, because I was in the market for a 9mm Pistol. But my main reason for going was to see if they had a Neos .22 LR Pistol, because that is what I wanted.

So I was looking in the case waiting to be helped, and I see an XD-M in .40S&W. And next to it was another XD-M, only this one was in 9mm. So when it was my turn, I took a look at it.

Felt good in my hand, and of course its got that 19 round magazine. Perhaps its nothing but hype, but I figured I just had to have it.

Came with the XD Kit of two 19-round magazines, a cheapy looking holster, twin mag pouch, and of course the backstraps to switch out. And the cable lock.

Plan on going to the range tomorrow since the weather is still suppose to be nice. I'll be sure to give a report when I get back.

Nice gun. I had an xd 357 sig when they first came out and loved it. I want to handle one of the m's, but I'm afraid I would then have to have one. Let me know what you think.

mmmm 4 19 rnd mags

I would like to know what you all think of the grip of the xdm, it seemed foreign to me,Im a glock guy, but I appreciate sigs(they fit my hand like a glove), and I like a good revolver or 1911 in the hand, but I fondled an xdm and it felt odd, like how could this monstrosity I am holding be considered comfortable, or concealable for that matter.I dont mean to flame. I just expect alot for 650 bones.

Thanks. I actually went there after I made that one post, downloaded it, printed it, and stuck it with a copy of my receipt in the mail so it will go out today.

As for the grip, I've never tried a glock. The grip doesn't seem bad to me. Haven't tried the optional backstraps. I wish they were easier to switch out.

As for the range report, the range was closed today. So I guess I'll try tomorrow.
