I have an XD9 Service model that i only really use for target practice. When I am home I usually keep the XD near my bed but the only ammo I ever have for it is cheep FMJ that I can find. I dont reload so Im thinking of buying a box or so of good defense rounds and I was wondering what all of you find to be good ammo for your XD.

Get some "Powr Ball" ammo. Does nasty stuff, and has rounded end to make it feed like a Round nose.

Rem-UMC 115 gr hp. I get 'em at Wally World. Work fine in the gun. I suspect if I ever have to shoot anyone with them, that person won't care that they're not "high dollar."
