XD9...+p rounds?

Sorry if this is a reposted question, but I couldn't find anything on google or on a THR search. My manual doesn't specify, but is it ok to run +P rounds through my xd9? They're factory loads, not handloads. I normally shoot 115gr, but found a decent deal on some 124gr winchesters that I couldn't pass up.

You can definitely fire +P through your XD. When I bought mine, I called Springfield, and they told me it was rated for +P+ (which I don't fully understand, since that's just "above +P", with no upper limit).

So...go right ahead.

I think you would probably go broke purchasing +p ammo before damaging an XD. They are pretty tough and the dual recoil spring system works quite well.
 
XD9 and +p

For what it's worth I read somewhere that the XD, being european, was designed to handle NATO 9mm ammo, which is equivalent to +p.
Is this true ?
