Reacquainting self with the XD line of poly pistols. Really like these XDM series of pistols. I just purchased the XDM 5.25 9mm, competition setup with fiber optic front sight. This is what I would call a very refined G34. Much nicer than the Glock in a lot of ways. I am adding a few more XDM's as $$$ dictates.

Congrats on the 5.25. I saw one the other day at my indoor range. Didn't bother to hold it because I didn't want to get all wound up about about something I can't buy right now.

I've got an XDm 4.5 in 9mm and just picked up an XD-45 the other day. I've never had a minute of trouble from the XDm and the XD-45 ran flawlessly on it's first outing. Really nice pistols in my opinion.

I picked up my first XD earlier this week, a XDm Compat 3.8 in .40 cal. This is my first Striker fired weapon. The presence of the trigger saftey along with the grip saftey was big factor in choosing the XDm over other options.

I intend to use this as a primary carry weapon but am a little concerned about overall size and weight. After reading posts here and on other forums about what other people are carrying convinced me to give it a try.

Haven't made it to the range yet. That happens early Saturday morning before the heat moves in. Should I report in after?

i also have an XD not an XDM. Its a subcompact 9mm but i love it. The thing shoots great IMO for being a subcompact. Anyway for carry purposes i only carry this in the winter time because it is a little bigger. I love the weapon though.

I have an xdm45 and love it to death, I'm just as accurate with it as I am with a Beretta M9 or a glock 17. I cant wait till my deployment is over so I can pick up the 5.25 and see what it can do. I have a powder river trigger laying around but I cant decide whether I wanna turn the 45 into a super service pistol or drop it it the 5.25 and start shooting comp.
