It feels like I've been waiting for this to come back in stock forever. I checked the website this morning and they were still out of stock. I checked it just now and they have 17 of them. So I ordered one.

Man I am so happy. :)

Buying knives and buying guns makes me so happy :) I just wish the happy feeling would last, but eventually it wears off :(

Here is the website for people who might want one:

Here is a review, a little pretentious maybe, posing the question "Best Bushcraft Knife ?" But it is a fairly good review:

I'm tempted to order one, but not from Europe. Any sources selling them here.

You might be able to purchase one second hand but Varusteleka is an online reseller direct to the public and they're the only ones distributing these knives AFAIK.

They're already sold out of the knife/sheath set, they sold out yesterday, so it took less than a day for them to sell out their stock. You can still purchase just the knife and a plastic cover for it, they have about 45 of the 4⅓" ( 110mm ) blades left and about 70 of the larger 5½" (140mm) blades left in carbon steel.

They're completely sold out of the stainless steel versions.

Terävä is one of Varusteleka's in-house lines. I've ordered from them several time, no problems. Shipping is only $9.99 to the US. The biggest delay in getting my packages each time has been getting cleared through US Customs at JFK.

FWIW, I have a Skrama and its a beast of a chopper.

I've been looking for an affordable drop point fixed blade multi purpose knife and that looks to fill the bill!
Now I have to wait until they are available again

For the $25 savings without the sheath, you can buy most of the stuff needed to make your own kydex sheath. Its amazing how easy kydex sheaths are to make.

I would have bought a 110 w leather sheath for a Christmas gift if available. I wasn't aware of these particular knives but I've been very happy with the other carbon scandi blades I have.

Oh ya, I didn't think about that, there won't be any more of these before Christmas, these are the last Terävä Jääkäripuukkos of the year.

    They're completely sold out of the 4⅓" ( 110mm ) knives.
