Yet another picture thread: Service/Paramilitary/Evil Black/C&R Rifles!

Let's see your service, military, and paramilitary rifles and clones! Anything from the 1861 Springfield to the M4 carbine will do (or your closest equivalents).

Here's one of me and my DSA STG58A "Authentic Austrian" FAL, a semiautomatic rifle similar (and built from suprlus parts of) Austrian Army STG-58 rifles, manufactured by Steyr.

And here is a much less, erm, flattering picture of me and my ACTUAL service weapon, an FN M249 SAW 5.56x45mm, with 100 round soft pouch belt (blanks and blank adapter). I'm wearing my cold weather bunny boots, field jacket, medium ALICE pack, load bearing vest (with FMCO water bladder holder), kevlar helmet under my arm, and a shoulder bag with spare ammo belts in it. The lighting does not do much for my face, does it? Ick. I look puffy...:scrutiny:

Aye and greetings, Schuey2002. Always good to meet a fellow SL8-1 owner. Fine rifles if you overlook the 10 round limit and the strange looking, yet fairly comfortable, butthole stock. I'm working on getting a SW coversion kit to give the poor lil' rifle a 30 round capacity and a pistol grip, but I've got too many irons in the fire, so to speak. :p

Have you dyed yours? Already got the conversion bolted on? Hopefully if HK builds a US plant they can start cranking out more accurate G36 clones than can be built currently. :(

SKUNKABILITY:

Picture caption for your photo... "This is the last time I'm gonna tell you before I take action. Get OUT of the bathroom. I REALLY have to go!"

or... "Skunk goes a little overboard hunting rats at home."

or... "Putting 'ballistic hollow-core' doors to the test."

Started building my rifle collection in California a little too late. So it's either Garands or M14's for me. Hmmm... maybe it's time to move onto M14's.

Service rifles, WWII.

Here Is One Of Our Modern Entries

We have few others but here is an AR15 to wet everybody's whistle.
