the martini henry is in terrible condition but i shipped it back from afghanistan along with the smle and a flintlock pistol that isn't in that photo. both the martini and the flintlock are simply display pieces but i think i can shoot the smle after a trip to the gunsmith to be sure it's safe.

yeah, i think i'll have to buy more handguns but i'm just not into them as much as i am rifles. next on the list is a springfield armory gi model 1911a1. parkerized, of course.

the blue ar is an old armalite (eagle arms) lower with rock river NM parts group and a stag arms lefty upper. the furniture is cavarms. they don't make the "non-tactical" colors any more but you can find a set if you look hard enough. i built it for my lady friend who is right handed but left eye dominant.

i noticed that i forgot to include a picture of the flintlock so....

We love pics chopinbloc, and it looks like fun collection to me.

One question, is that a Pachmayr grip on the 1911? I just ordered my first 1911 and was looking at those grips, any words of wisdom or recommendations?
    Thanks,
    RT

    red,

those are actually hogue grips. as far as recommendations go, i'm of the opinion that you should never use rubber grips for a defense gun because rubber gets slippery with fluids but hogue does make some very comfy grips and if it's just a range gun then definitely get a set.

naw. i just hang it on the wall with the SMLE.
