mine shot low. I sent it back to briley (briley does the service work) and it still shot low when it came back. Very tight actions, they're shipped dry as a bone, the early guns had soft firing pins, and the ejectors are so overpowered you can't hardly close the gun. That said, the ejectors can be lightened, they have nice wood, a cheap price, there's a thread over on shotgunworld where people have run thousands of rounds through them. It's a very lightweight gun (both good or bad depending on your intended use) fit me well, and functioned fine, but I ended up selling mine.

just looking for a decent double. Shoot clays every now and again... Maybe deer once in a lifetime. Budget...what someone will trade me for my hi power

Look at the Lanber at CDNN - should be about the same as your Hi-Power and better built than the Yildiz - IIRC, they were running right about 600 or so - for that price they are a steal

the hi power is in hand. It's worth about 900, not 600.... It's old enough to be a collector.

I don't have cash...but a couple of people are interested in a trade.... A franchi 12ga and a 20ga. The yildiz fell through. I'm mostly enamored in having a nice double... And this fancy may not last.

I had one for about six months. Bought from a guy at work for $200. Gun was very clean and very light. After going to the range several times I would end up with a Remington in my hands. Not a bad gun just did not float my boat. Sold it to another guy at work who offered me $300. Done!

oneounce.. looked at some sued citori's today and several ruger red labels. I liked the drop the most on the red labels.

But the citori's were in my price range if I am able to sell my hi power, the ruger was still 100 out side of that (just shy of 1k).

I had a red label and still have a citori. The rugers are a little heavy and I didn't like the safety.

Not too familiar with the Yildiz, though I have looked at a couple.

Not sure what the conventional wisdom on Huglu is, but I owned a 12 guage O/U for a while. Picked it up because the price was right. I'm not a big shotgun guy, and never fired it, but the new owner likes it pretty well.
