Just wanted to let everyone know that I shot my first IPSC match yesterday. Being a new shooter and unfamiliar with the rules, I was afraid to try but the guys talked me into it. I had a real blast! I was using my .45 that I had just gotten last month and I did not finish last. I was one of two women in a group of thirty guys. I just wanted everyone to know it is FUN!!! Try it, you'll love it! You don't have to be great, just willing to give it a shot! Going to join a club soon. Everyone was very willing to help out this ole lady.

I think what you have there is called an epiphany. You found that shooting games are fun. Don't look back. Shooting is one of the few sports where men and women can compete on a level field. Its always fun to see how really good you ladies are!
