You Can Actually Kill a Terrible National Gun Control Law

KeepAndBearArms.com -- In 1994 Bill Clinton and the Democrats pushed through an unconstitutional ban on a random list of semi-automatic rifles that they (mendaciously) called “assault weapons,†thus setting a terrible precedent: they can add ANY GUN to that list, including YOURS.

And don’t worry, the Democrats eventually WILL add your gun to that list. Don’t believe it? Consider this: the Democrats banned the manufacture, sale, and import of ALL such guns in the entire state of California three years ago.

And that same Clinton/Democrat ’94 ban says that you’re too DANGEROUS or STUPID or WORTHLESS to own a rifle or pistol magazine holding more than 10 rounds. It BANNED new production or import of the normal-capacity magazines we’ve been using all our lives.

Oh yeah – the Democrats think that cops and other law-enforcement personnel are better than you, and that their lives are worth more than yours. They said this by making cops immune to the ban, allowing police to get normal capacity mags, not limited-capacity like yours. This means the ban doesn’t affect the armed guards watching over Ted Kennedy and Dianne Feinstein, either. They have full capacity magazines in their guns.

    A QUESTION FOR YOU

Do you want to HELP WIPE OUT the Clinton ban on so-called "assault" weapons and high-capacity magazines?

Good! Sorry, but you can’t do it telepathically or by whining or griping to your friends. You’ll have to spend a few minutes. But you’ll never break a sweat.

It’s utterly simple. Not FUN, but it can be done calmly, sitting down in a comfortable chair with a soft drink in one hand, listening to talk radio in the background. You can handle it, believe me.

    THE FACTS, JACK

PHONE CALLS AND LETTERS/POSTCARDS are how politicians keep their finger on our pulse. They figure if you’ll take a few minutes and spend a couple of bucks for long-distance calls or postage, you’re SERIOUS about your message.

No, there’s no way to measure the influence of cards and calls, but Congressmen continually tell us this is how they know what issues to support or not to support. I tend to believe them on this matter, if nothing else. Remember, their goal is NOT to protect the Constitution – except perhaps Ron Paul of Texas – but to get RE-ELECTED. Listening to their most active and vocal constituents is how they do it.

By the way, they DON’T REALLY CARE about emails, so I’m not going to bother giving email addresses. Emails are too easy to send, and don’t represent commitment and deep feeling on the part of constituents or party members. Emails come in by the millions, are responded to automatically by a robot and then dumped. Don’t waste your time.

HERE YOU GO – LAID RIGHT IN YOUR LAP

First, call at least TWO of the numbers below.

When they answer, tell them you want to leave a comment.

    They’ll say “Sure, go ahead.â€

Just something like “If the Clinton gun and magazine ban is renewed, I will not support/vote for (Bush, Republican Party, etc).†:cuss: No need to get emotional or speak volumes. :cuss:

The phone handler on the other end will mark your comment on their issues list and say “Thank you,†and you’re done.

It’s easy. I’ve done it many, many times. I’m going to do it again a few more times in the coming months.

By the way, for all you DEMOCRATS: Your party is pushing hard, and consistently - at both the state and federal levels - to completely disarm Americans. You may not give a damn about that, but you should be aware of it.

    COME ON, EASYCHAIR PATRIOTS

Start with House Majority Leader, Republican Tom DeLay — 202-225-5951

Then Senate Majority Leader, Republican Bill Frist — (202) 224-3344

Then Speaker of the House, Republican Dennis Hastert — (202) 225-2976

    Then the White House — (202) 456-1111

YOU DID IT! FEELS GOOD TO ACTUALLY TAKE ACTION, DOESN’T IT?

NOW – File this email in your “SAMPLES†folder (or make a NEW one) or ADD THIS STORY to your website FAVORITES list. You’re going to need it again in a few months when I bug you again. But it’s for your own good. And for the good of your children and grandchildren.

    FOR REALLY SERIOUS ACTIVISTS

    — Grab a piece of paper out of your copier tray and write by hand, or open up MSWord or WordPerfect.

    — Write one or two sentences about your feelings regarding his support for this unconstitutional ban on selected semi-automatic rifles and magazines holding less than the normal amount, and how it will affect your vote for him and/or support for the Republican party.

    — Write or print out four copies. Sign them. Address the envelopes with the info below, stamp them, mail them. Not really that tough, was it?

    MORE ON THIS SUBJECT:

GOA’s Contribution to Repealing The Semi-Auto Ban: Pre-Printed Postcards.

These "Save Our Gun Rights" postcard packs each contain a total of 50 postcards, printed on brightly-colored, strong cardstock. The postcards are pre-addressed to the White House, urging President Bush to support the sunset (repeal) of the odious Clinton-Feinstein Semi-Auto Ban. They can be distributed at gun shows, ranges, or other places pro-gun people assemble.

If you have your own cardstock and a printer, you can download the "masters" for free as Word documents and run off as many cards as you like.

    Here is the link.

I'm not sure about Feinswine's bodyguards, but Kennedy's are armed with fully automatic weapons.

Request for a sticky, possibly to replace the one that is currently up there, as this has all the vital contact info.

I'm calling and writing a letter tomorrow.
