I see now what it is, a wooden stock for the semi-auto pistol!

I thought the wooden stock itself was the complete firearm!

    Double-DUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

    Interesting.

But not interesting enough for the price being asked IMO.

I know of one that went locally about a year ago for $2500. It was beautiful, but not that beautiful.

I love the sights on these things! Definitely a work of functional art.

If you see another Inglis Hi Power with stock, .22 unit, and all those mags for $730 again, let us know! I'm afraid those days are long gone for most of us. Yeah, a "steal" of a deal is had now and then, but for the rest of us, regular going prices prevail. Just remember, when one gets a GREAT deal like that, the seller is usually getting screwed.

I love the fact that the sights graduate all the way to "500". I wish I knew whether that was supposed to be feet or yards... Either way, it's a rather long shot for a pistol, don't you think?

The first tangent sight Hi-Powers were graduated to 1000 meters!!
The Inglis guns were calibrated to 500 yards, more of a sales ploy than a moment of reality,,,;)

The auction closed at $1099 with the sellers reserve not being met.

What is intersting is the seller advertised the gun as an FN production when it is clearly an Inglis produced pistol.
Probably why there wasn't more interest.

I used a tangent sighted Hi Power to smack a 4'x4' rock at a lasered 420 yards. I had slightly faster ammo than the original 124gr @ 1050 fps, and I used the "350" mark on the tangent sight. Worked quite well, when I did my job at holding it right......................

Nice... though I'd probably prefer a Broomhandle on the end of that stock, this would be a close second on the list of "dream on " guns.

Waaaaaay overpriced. I have one just like it that I acquired recently - mine is just as nice, but was half the price. I got a good deal, but that went to $1099 and the reserve wasn't met? Both the seller and the would-be buyers need to lay off the crack pipe.
