I am just wondering how many people bought some of the "evil" guns in the post-election days.

Lets just say that I knew about 5 years ago that we weren't gonna have another republican in office for a while......I got an early start. But I did pick up an XD.45 in Jan. and an SKS, just cause I like them(already had a few AKs)

Why would I list any "evil" guns, assuming I own or purchased any, on the internet for other people to see? I consider any purchases I have made or haven't made or will make or won't make private.
I suppose it is fun to read about other people, though.

I did all my EBR shopping over well before Nov. 4. The only guns I've bought since are another CZ-52 and a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag.

Since November Elections:

1 PSL-54C/Romak III to use my x54R ammo from my 3 Mosin Nagants
1 CavArms OD Green plastic AR lower receiver
1 SW 1006 handgun in 10mm for ccw/general purpose kick butt fun
1 SW 642 J-frame for wife's ccw
1 CZ-82 for ccw alternative/too good a deal to pass up
And all the conversion parts to make my 16" Saiga x39 (purchased in Sept 08' for $280) into a AK-103 clone.

I paid under MSRP/panic buy prices on all items, found smoking deals on the 3 pistols because here in NY State not many people can purchase handguns due to the horrible handgun licensing laws (low demand = high supply = low prices) and they were all used and in great condition.

Paid $500 for the PSL (came complete with scope, mag pouch, 2 mags, oiler, sling, etc) and another $80 for another mag pouch with 4 more mags: total 6 mags, rifle, sling, 2 mag pouches, 4x scope for just under $600.

Paid $100 for the OD Green CavArms lower at Brownells 2 weeks ago. Saved $50 off MSRP with my 03 FFL discount there...nice too because the CavArms lowers include the buttstock, pistol grip and trigger guard.

Got alot of my Saiga conversion parts from Brownells with my 03 FFL discount. Did all the conversion work myself = $0 gunsmith fees.

I added no new calibers/I stock the ammo to feed these new firearms already from rifles/pistols already in my inventory.




*These are all post election purchases, I did quite alot of stocking up on EBR's waaaaaay before the election. These were just good deals that were impossible to pass up; that they happened post election is just hilarious as I made out like a bandit with the deals in light of the current market prices.

I counted the latest, Ruger M77 .25-06 bolt action w/ American Walnut stock, as an Evil Ruger. However, it looks beautiful rather than evil.

I also bought an AR15.

I bought two guns since November, but neither are on your evil list. I guess I bought well behaved, polite guns.

My buying coincided with the frenzy, but wasn't part of it. It just so happened that I was introduced to guns a few months before all heck broke loose. My bad timing, I guess.

Knowing that there would be mass-hysteria and a buying frenzy, I did my AK-clone Christmas shopping early.
I have bought several used and/or surplus handguns since the election. All were on my list of "to buy in 2009" and not part of any frenzy shopping. I bought them as I found them for a good price.
